PSALMS 62:1 (AMPC)
"For God alone my soul waits in silence; from Him comes my salvation."
Have you ever heard the sound of silence? We all become silent at times . Reasons could be diverse. Sometimes it could be a sickness, hurts, betrayals and the extreme is death. So we all have experienced this from time to time.
Perhaps some of us might be going through a silent phase. And if we pay attention, the word 'listen' emerges from the word silent. So then it means that we can listen to the silence. Woah!
We can become silent when we're angry, hurt, sick or feeling uncomfortable and the list can go on . But beauty lies in when we start becoming silent in our speech, character and idiosyncrasy as we mature in Christ and start understanding our God. Silence can be the most beautiful ornament that we can adorn ourselves to the world while pouring out our heart to God no matter whatever we're going through. Not all are called to understand you my dear people of God , not all are called to be a 'noise' in your story.
God speaks in silence, through silence. It's a dimension we reach when we have mastered the art of dealing with the nonsense of people and let me tell you , it's a very dangerous level that a child of God can reach. How can the enemy try to figure out what's going on in the mind of someone who has mastered the art of silence. Silence is the best weapon to the enemy - spiritual or physical who's trying to provoke a response from you beloved and with the backing of God victory is guaranteed.
Learn the art of being silent and hand over the battles to the Lord. People of God we can't fight every battle by shouting, being verbal or expressing disgust. So relax. Take a deep breath. Focus on your Lord and God and let Him fight for you while you enjoy the silence.
PRAYER: FATHER GOD HELP US TO BE SILENT AS WE FOCUS ON YOU AND YOU FIGHT OUR BATTLES. HELP OUR INNER MAN TO BE SILENT. IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME WE PRAY.
