SILENCE & SOLITUDE - PASTOR CLEMENTINA

BEING IN SILENCE AND SOLITUDE IS A MUST FOR EVERY HUMAN BEING, MAY IT BE A PERSON IN THE LORD OR IN THE WORLD, CAUSE THIS HELPS YOU TO GATHER YOURSELF AND THINK OF THE PROBLEM OR THE SITUATION TRYING TO OVERCOME YOU OR IT COULD EVEN BE TO REST YOUR BODY AND SOUL FROM THE CHAOS OF THE WORLD.

Psalm 23:1-2 NKJV - SAYS THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD; I SHALL NOT WANT. HE MAKES ME LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES: HE LEADS ME BESIDES THE STILL WATERS.

IN THE ABOVE VERSES, WE SEE THE PSALMIST CALLING JESUS OUR SHEPHERD, THE WORK OF A SHEPHERDS DUTY IS TO GUIDE, GUARD AND PROTECT HIS SHEEP AND AS WE ARE THE SHEEP OF OUR LORD ABOVE, HIS CONCERN FOR OUR WELLBEING IS MUCH MORE THAN WE COULD  EVER THINK OR CARE FOR OURSELVES.

TO HEAR THE VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS VERY IMPORTANT; CAUSE WHEN WE DO THAT, WE TEND TO SAFEGUARD OURSELVES FROM MUCH PAIN AND SORROW. THAT’S WHAT THE ABOVE VERSES SAYS ”THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD I SHALL NOT WANT.” IF YOU SURRENDER YOURSELF TO THE LORD AND KEEP YOUR EARS OPEN TO HIS VOICE YOU WILL NEVER EVER BE IN WANT CAUSE NOW HE HAS TAKEN UPON HIMSELF TO CARE FOR YOU.

SILENCE AND GOING INTO SOLITUDE IS VERY IMPORTANT, THIS WILL HELP YOU NOT ONLY TO COME CLOSER TO THE LORD, BUT ALSO HEAR HIS VOICE AS HE INSTRUCTS YOU, REGARDS TO YOUR FAMILY, HEALTH, WEALTH, JOB, BUSINESS ETC.

IF WE READ THE BOOK OF MATTHEW WE SEE MANY A TIMES JESUS GOING TO EITHER A MOUNTAIN OR A PLACE WHERE HE COULD MAINTAIN SILENCE AND BE IN SOLITUDE TO COMMUNICATE WITH HIS FATHER AND LISTEN TO INSTRUCTION AND TAKE GUIDANCE FROM HIS FATHER.

PRAYER:

HEAVENLY FATHER MAY WE LEARN TO GIVE REST TO THIS BODY OF FLESH AND BLOOD WITH SILENCE AND SOLITUDE, SO WE COULD REJUVENATE AND REFRESH OURSELVES BASKING IN YOUR GLORY, DERIVING YOUR STRENGTH TO LIVE IN THIS WORLD. IN JESUS NAME I PRAY AMEN AMEN AND AMEN.
