PROVERBS 16:3 TPT
Before you do anything, put your trust totally in God and not in yourself. Then every plan you make will succeed.
The God who rules everything in the universe is thinking about your plans. He has time for you and me . Humble yourself to him. Only when you give Him your plans your thoughts will be established.
Paul discusses talents and gifts when he says:
Romans12:6-8 NLT
In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
You can commit your works to God in many ways. Our job is obedience, God’s job is everything else. So whatever you do, commit your work, your efforts, and your life to Him-and watch Him work through you.
PRAYER
God, I want my life to be lived for your glory. In moments where it is difficult for me to surrender my plans to You, please help me to focus on your vision for the future. In Jesus name, Amen.
