Psalm 75:6 “For not from the east nor from the west nor from the south come promotion and lifting”.
As we read in the previous blog, how can God promote us, it's possible only when we are promoted from above.
Psalm 3:3 “But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.” The Bible is much clear declaring, that the Lord is our shield and the One who lifts up our head. Though you must have faced lot of reproach and shame in life but get ready to accept honor and promotion so that your head is lifted high not because you worked hard and studied hard but because God has allowed it to happen.
Many people do not know who they are and what potential they carry, may be you have never understood your ownself, it can be possible that if your working with a company and it is making much profits just because the Lord is with you, but because your not matured in the spirit, you are unable to understand your worth and your promotion and progress is affected. Let me show you one verse which will enlighten you.
Genesis 30:27 (AMPC) “And Laban said to him (Jacob), If I have found favor in your sight, I pray you [do not go]; for I have learned by experience and from the omens in divination that the Lord has favored me with blessings on your account.”
Now Jacob had an Uncle named Laban, and this man was prospering not because of his hard-work and determination but because of his own nephew Jacob who stayed with him and served him, and Laban reveals this success secret to Jacob.
Jacob had faithfully served his uncle Laban so that we could marry his Uncle's daughters, though being cheated but his uncle, as Laban was a crafty man and through divination he had found out the reason of his great success and never wanted Jacob to leave him and neither did he promote Jacob or honored him.
Illustration 1) - Suppose you are working in your company dedicatedly for years and your Boss is not interested neither to promote you nor to hike your salary and even not allowing you to search for another job continuosly lying to you and telling you that if you leave this job, your future is in trouble.
Illustration 2) - Suppose you are staying on rent in a small house for years and you are planning for a house of your own, but for some reason you are unable to collect the amount and due to some unavoidable circumstances every time the money collected and saved leaks out of your hands, have you ever tried to understand the seriousness of it? When will you have the house of your own and for how long will you stay on rent ?
Who is trying to steal you in both the cases. In the first case the boss and in the second case the house owner are seriously aware, that since the time they have associated with you, life has bought much blessing to them and now they are aware and you are ignorant of it, and they don't want to lose you neither be a blessing to you but in reality you are losing so much blessings and are completely frustrated with your present pathetic condition without progress and sucess. You are been indirectly profiting them, making them rich by living an ignorant and defeated life only because you are not tuned to the things of God.
The people of the world whom you are subjected to are using spiritual mediums to know about you, but what are you using to get promoted and elevated in life, men around you are benefitted but in reality you are nowhere because of lack of Godly knowledge in your life. Today make a decision that you will no more walk in your own understanding and deceive your ownself rather seek God desperately and allow Him to take charge of your life completely.
Prayer - Lord let my eyes be opened to know who I am in Christ. Let your favour remain on me and take me to my next level of elevation and promotion in Jesus name I pray, amen.
