My Comforter (Part -2) – Sr. Sophia

JOHN 16:33 NKJV

These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace .In the world  you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.’’

Every day is a war. "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own". (Matthew 6:34)We will be steadfast, confident, and totally at peace if we trust Him. In this world we will face problems. Jesus says take heart ! I’ve conquered the world. If He has conquered the world. We are His heirs.

Nowadays, even minor events might go against our wishes .We were unable to accept it. We question our parents, and sometimes even God. Come on, my dear people, all of your sorrows will only be allowed by God the Father.

At times, he wanted you to learn. The difficulty comes into your life to shape you, strengthen you, and teach you new things. As gold is polished in fire, we are likewise placed in fire to kill all the unwanted things and emerge as a new person. It will transform us and our lives.

The anguish we are experiencing now is nothing compared to what Jesus went through for us. His anguish was unbearable. We are unable to overcome even minor challenges in our lives. When you face a difficult situation in life, remember only one thing; What Would Jesus Do ?

You must be calm and patient, think twice before acting ,listen to God’s voice, and seek guidance from the Holy Spirit. Whatever it is ! Your comforter is right behind you, ready to hold you .

Prayer

Help us, O Lord, to be joyful in hope, be patient in suffering, and persistent  in prayer. Not to rely solely on our own understanding and not to give up during our difficult times, for we know our comforter is there to support us. Before we were ever born, you already knew us in our mother’s womb. Give us courage and comfort this day. Thank you, Lord. Amen .
