Isaiah 27:4-World English Bible
It is written - Wrath is not in me, but if I should find briers and thorns, I would do battle! I would march on them and I would burn them together.
Today every family we see around us is cheerful, joyful, and full of jokes, but are we really seeing the complete picture?
Are these individuals truly expressing their reality behind their happy faces and smiles? Life is nothing but chaos. Are they not concealing the hurt, fear, and anxiety they will experience, when they return home? Are they not concealing the lack they will encounter as soon as they set foot on hard surfaces? Are they not concealing the cruelty they will encounter upon arriving home?
Who do they get upset, despite the fact that rage is not their magic bullet? Others in their immediate vicinity?Or on themselves? Or will they investigate the reason and how to make things better?
The best way to deal with such situations is none other than the Word of God. Begin by asking yourself how this situation came into your life. Once you have the answer, instead of blaming yourself or those around you, turn to the word of God. Take scriptures relevant to your situation and begin meditating on them.
The word is the most potent weapon, and it can control and turn any circumstance around provided you have faith and refuse to give up. As the above phrase from Isaiah states, even if you come across briers and thorns along the way, march out with the word and burn every single one of them. Remember that in this life, we will meet tribulations, but God is already ahead of you, burning & destroying them.
Prayer:
Father God, thank you for being by my side in all circumstances, and for instilling in me the belief that with You by my side, I will never be in need. Thank you for your unsurpassable love You have bestowed upon me and my family; sorry, if I ever thought that I was alone in this worldly war; sorry, I even tried putting circumstances into my own hands, forgetting that you were the one in control. In Jesus mighty name I Pray
Amen Amen & Amen
