GOD IS NOT YOUR UNCLE

LUKE 9:62. NKJV

But Jesus said to him,“No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Accepting the Lord Jesus is not kisses and hugs . But it's a war, Yes you heard me right, It's a war! Thunder bolt, Lightnings and atom bombs. Whatever you are scared of, it is that .

Let's see what the Word says ? Deuteronomy 4: 24 calls Him and ever consuming fire . Matthew 10:24 says that He came with the sword. Psalms 29: 9 says that His voice makes the deer give birth and strips the forests bare.

Acts 5 advocates that He struck Ananias Sapphira dead . So you see beloved God is not what we have been taught throughout the years. An old man with white long beard . Or archetype of Lord as a man holding our hands playing ring - a - ring - roses . That's what we have been hearing as always. In my old church we were only taught that God loves and loves and loves. So we can sin as much as we want, He'll forgive and the whole Christian life would be about this .

God loves, but is it all? What kind of love is God's? Is it emotional? So does it mean that every time we sin or fail, He will forgive and keep on forgiving without bringing about a transformation in us so all that we are doing that's not upto the mark must stop.

It's really important that we experience the person, nature and character of God as we grow in Christ. Because the moment we make a decision to follow Christ, a lot would take place and turn our world upside down. Following and loving God is not merry - go round beloved .

That's why we need a seasoned man/ woman of God to equip us rightly in the revelation and wisdom of God . Our character must change and most importantly our soul needs to be delivered, for then only the God of the Bible can do what He promises to do in His Word . The patriarchs of the Bible had a very different mindset and life than what most Christians have now. That's why they could experience God in a dramatically enormous way.

2 Timothy 4:3 says “For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear." That's what is exactly happening now . People go to churches or preachers that suit them, not who God has chosen for them.

Beloved , real revelation will offend you, kill your flesh. So then how do we know this God. We can know God and then love Him the way He wants us by serving somebody who's walked with God for a long time, who has experienced God and can manifest God before us followed by healing, deliverance, prophecy, signs and wonders - those very manifestations of God that we see in the book of Acts . That early church witnessed .

Know God to love God in the way He wants, not the way you want. For our own minds will always deceive us. God is not emotional nor does He stays in emotions. Don't let your feelings deceive you. If you're genuine in your pursuit of God, God himself will bring you to the right person and reveal himself to you.

PRAYER:

FATHER GOD HELP US TO KNOW ABOUT YOU IN THE WAY YOU WANT, REVEAL YOURSELF MORE TO US. MAY WE NOT BE OVER SWAYED BY OUR FEELINGS OR WRONG DOCTRINES. BUT THIS DAY DELIVER IS FROM ALL THAT'S NOT OF YOU. IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME WE PRAY.
