DON’T BE A BED POTATO - ITS TIME TO HASH BROWN (PART 2) - SISTER JERNIA

Updated: Aug 2

JOB 7:18 NLT

“For you examine us every morning and test us every moment."

A few years back as i started my walk with the Lord, the first thing that He did was to discipline me by waking me up at 3 am. Even if some days i would sleep around 1 am or 2 am, the Holy Spirit would shake me to wake me at sharp 3 am. As a youngster with so much going around, so much on the platter it was no doubt tough but with the Lord Jesus, i always say victory is guaranteed.

With a tumble and thud here and there somehow i would manage and sit in God's presence and then the spirit would quicken up after some time. It's not easy in the beginning but also not impossible and as days passed it turned into a habit and now i don't have a problem seeking God in the early hours of the day.

When you'll start seeking God like this you'll find it funny that the Lord is actually whimsical and has His own ways of dealing with you - a way specially designed for you even as in waking you up.

Sometimes, i would hear a soft whistling in the room right before the prayer time, and when i would ask my elder sister after sunrise if she heard too she would completely deny that. Why? Because it was specifically designed for me.

At other times, i would be awakened by a rough shake as if someone shook me really bad. Yet at other times, i would see a feather very clearly with my open eyes falling from rooftop and before it could reach the floor it would vanish. Colourful glitter in the form of dust all over the body. These are certain manifestations that God would give you in order to encourage you and also to let you know that you're so special to Him, and there might be no one in the room but He's right beside you.

Whenever God is behind a certain thing He will always leave a sign behind. You might be in a certain problem or deep down in the doldrums and your God wants to help you but has sleep or laziness taken precedence that the voice of God is being doused off.

Do you know why God loves to commune in those certain hours because He wants you all by Himself, where no one can disturb you, your problems won't bog you down so that you can romance with Him, just the two of you and as a lover allow God to share in your problems , wordly lovers might not have solutions but this lover of your soul surely has.

Remember our Lord Jesus walking on the waters in the fourth watch. 3 am to 6 am is a prophetic time , what the Bible calls as the fourth watch . Secrets are hidden in your own Bible beloved. Have you ever thought why certain times are mentioned. Because God doesn't do anything without a reason. If it's there in your Bible it means it has a prophetic reason. Every action has a response. So if you wake up at that time, know that the LORD wants to visit you too. He's walking on the waters telling you that He's walking upon your problems. He's walking upon that sickness, that monetary issue, family issues, court case, debts you name it. What does that mean? He has answers and victory to all your problems. That's the significance of 3 am to 6 am. Does it ever happen that you retire to bed but for some reason you cannot sleep and the moment you see it's always these prophetic times - 12 am to 6 am. Yet you roll over and go back to sleep.

If it's happening with you beloved know that the Lord is speaking to you , waking you up to commune with Him. Surrender that issue to Him today and let Him act .

It may not always be possible for you to pray from 12 am to 6 am . But if at any particular time by chance you wake up at those times, just roll out and sit with Him for sometime and see the breakthrough happening. Believe it to receive it.

PRAYER:

FATHER GIVE US STRENGTH TO GET UP AND SPEND TIME WITH YOU. I UNDERSTAND ON MY OWN I CAN'T DEAL WITH ANYTHING BUT WITH YOU VICTORY IS GUARANTEED. DELIVER ME FROM LAZINESS AND EXCESSIVE SLEEP. IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME WE PRAY. AMEN. AMEN. AMEN !!!
