3 John 1 : 2 (NKJV)
"Beloved I pray, that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
The above verse magnifies prosperity for us in all things including health and our very soul which plays an important role in a christian walk. Before we accepting Jesus, and starting our divine journey all of us have gone through good, bad, bitter experiences, resulting in our soul being affected the most. Affected emotions, affected will and affected imagination has a direct effect on our unrestored soul.
Healing of physical wound and bruises can get off easily but soulish wounds and bruises have terrible and long term affect on our soul and the past or present scars remain within us untouched by God, as being ignorant we never allowed God to deal with it. Have you met a talkative person ? If u observe him /her closely, their soul is much troubled. a poor or poverty mindset is also a result of soul tampering.
Apostle John reveals us that prosperity is not limited only to financial and material well being rather it relates even our very soul to be healthy and prosperous.
Psalm 23:3 (NKJV)
"He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness, for His name sake."
Why does the Psalmist say, He (the Lord) restores my soul. The meaning of restoration means 'regaining back again to its former good condition', truly our soul was deliberately in bad condition before we met Jesus. Bad experiences make us more bitter in life, robbing us of all our joy and peace. We need a thorough restoration specially in our soulish area, if we want to prosper in every area of our life and the root of it is our very soul getting restored and prosperous. Depression, oppression, mental unsoundness, suicidal tendencies could be averted only if their soul would be treated and bought in order.
Prayer - Dear Lord Jesus detox my soul and restore it, so that I be prosperous in Jesus name. Amen
