PSALMS 18:32(NLT)
"GOD ARMS ME WITH STRENGTH."
The moment we hear the word gold, its attributes of being valuable and precious come to our minds. A beautiful golden yellow colour comes to our minds, all possible images that can be identified with gold are visualised by us.
Well we're also like gold before the LORD. God also sees us as precious, priceless and of value. Even though gold is priceless and precious yet it can be broken. Many a times it must have happened with us also, our gold jewellery might have broken and we had to give it for repair. No doubt God sees us as precious as gold but many times when we're broken too, we also need a REPAIR.
Pure gold breaks easily, Why? Because it's very soft. Such is also with precious priceless children of God. We may be pure in heart but small things can break us easily. Crooked and wicked people don't get effected easily because they're always on the go to devise wicked plans and execute them. However, pure people do not have wickedness in then to plan and conspire because they fear God.
When does gold break? Gold in its purest form is very soft and tends to scratch, bend and break? You who are reading this blog right now might be a very soft hearted yet pure person before God but in order for God to use you and accomplish what He desires through you, He has to strengthen you because with all your purity and value God cannot achieve what He wants so He will make you rough by letting you go through situations, persecution, rejection, hurts, attacks, slander, gossip and such things in order to make you strong.
Gold has to be mixed with certain other metals like copper or silver, which enhances its strength and durability. Even though some other metals have been added in gold but gold doesn't lose its value, it remains EXPENSIVE. And gold is the only metal which has a resale value, anytime and every time PRECIOUS.So is with you beloved today, you might be as pure as a gold but God is taking you through storms and winds to make you strong from inside so that you can be a great asset to the Kingdom of God, precious and durable in the sight of God.
YOU ARE A GOLD, REMAIN A GOLD.
PRAYER: FATHER GOD HELP ME TO COMPREHEND THAT IM BEING STRENGTHENED BY YOU BY WHATEVER HAS BEEN ALLOWED BY YOU TO COME MY WAY.
