" After God took Saul away, God made David their king. This is what God said about David, the son of Jesse, is the kind of person who does what pleases me. He will do everything I want him to do."
So you think you have worshipped God? Well, think about it . Going to church raising hands and gyrating with the congregation listening to those beautiful melodious songs, clapping, going tra-la-la-la-la, thinking we're worshipping the Lord. All those things are good . But did you truly worship Him by doing that?
True worship is birthed by pain. Hello! Tring - tring! Didn't sound good. Right! Let's discover king David's secret , THE DAVID WAY. He's that one man who's always called a MAN AFTER GOD'S OWN HEART. Why? God Himself had to go through excruciating pain by killing Himself on the cross, when nobody understood Him and loved Him. And David very closely followed the Lord.
David had the heart to forgive the greatest enemy of his life , Saul , who for no reason was always envious of David and wanted to kill him. Not because David was bad or did Saul wrong but BECAUSE DAVID HAD THE HEART OF GOD. Even when as a king he got the chance to kill Saul, David let Saul go and fulfilled the commandment of blessing our enemies. Must have pained him for all the evil done to him by Saul but still he chose to display God's love through his character.
Many Psalms are a love letter of David to God, birthed out in extreme pain when he was chased, left, betrayed yet love was oozing out for God in that pain, that trial, that hurt.
DAVID WORSHIPED GOD.
LET'S NOT WASTE TIME IN HATING THE SAUL OF OUR LIFE. LET'S BE BUSY IN LOVING GOD BIRTHED OUT OF TRUE WORSHIP.

FATHER GOD HELP US TO HAVE A HEART LIKE YOU SO WE CAN WORSHIP YOU LIKE YOU .IN JESUS' MIGHTY NAME WE PRAY.
